Pakistan’s Zarea Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China’s Wang Chuang Xi Jun Chang Agri Ltd to explore advanced agricultural solutions in Pakistan. The agreement, part of a long-term partnership, was formalized at the Pak-China Investment Conference in Islamabad, with an initial commitment of $2 million.
The collaboration aims to strengthen Pakistan–China ties by introducing advanced seed technologies, technology-enabled agronomic services, structured labour management, and scalable production systems. It also seeks to enhance agricultural productivity, supply-chain efficiency, and traceability across Pakistan’s farming sector.
Zarea Limited highlighted that the MoU will facilitate technical knowledge transfer, potential export linkages, and international market exposure for local growers. The initiative is expected to modernize Pakistan’s agri-value chain and solidify Zarea’s role in technology-driven agriculture, supporting long-term growth and bilateral cooperation.
