The 3rd session of the Belt and Road International General Practitioners Training Course concluded at the First People’s Hospital of Kashgar, bringing together doctors from Pakistan, Tajikistan, and 90 local general practitioners.
The program included lectures, case studies, and hands-on practice covering general practice, chronic disease management, zoonotic disease control, first-aid skills, public health emergency response, and primary-specialist collaboration.
Pakistani medics shared experience delivering healthcare under limited resources, enhancing China-Pakistan medical collaboration. This initiative builds on previous sessions since 2024, laying a strong foundation for future joint healthcare efforts under CPEC.
