Pakistan and UAE are close to signing the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, aimed at boosting bilateral trade and removing obstacles in business transactions, officials said.
UAE Ambassador Hammad Obaid stated that the current $8-10 billion trade volume does not reflect the full potential and that both countries are committed to doubling it soon.
The ambassador highlighted UAE investments in key sectors including infrastructure, ports, aviation, agriculture, minerals, and railways, and emphasized digitalisation efforts for visa and trade processes to streamline operations.
