President Asif Ali Zardari has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its multi-dimensional partnership with the European Union (EU), emphasising the bloc’s importance as a key trade and investment partner.
In a meeting with the outgoing EU Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Riina Kionka, President Zardari acknowledged the EU’s role in promoting regional stability and global security. He highlighted the untapped potential for expanding development cooperation, especially in light of Pakistan’s young workforce and growing industrial base.
The President praised Dr. Kionka for her efforts in strengthening Pakistan-EU relations and congratulated her on the successful completion of her tenure.
