Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates held high-level talks during President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s first official visit to Pakistan. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing collaboration in key sectors such as trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, and technology. Both sides emphasized the importance of long-term strategic cooperation and mutual development.
The leaders expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of Pakistan-UAE relations and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regional peace and stability. President Al Nahyan was warmly welcomed at Nur Khan Airbase, with a 21-gun salute and an escort by JF-17 fighter jets, reflecting the deep brotherly ties between the two nations.
During the visit, the two countries agreed to expand economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges. The discussions also highlighted opportunities to increase bilateral trade, attract investment, and foster collaboration in infrastructure, IT, and technology. The visit underscores the significance of Pakistan-UAE relations, supported by a large Pakistani expatriate community in the Emirates and historical diplomatic ties.
