The Government of Pakistan has announced a special Rs75 commemorative coin to celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations with China.
Authorities will release the coin for public circulation on May 25, 2026, through exchange counters of State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation field offices.
Celebrating 75 Years of Diplomatic Relations
Pakistan and China officially established diplomatic relations on May 21, 1951. Since then, both countries have developed a long-standing strategic partnership based on cooperation and mutual support.
The commemorative coin marks the 75th anniversary of these bilateral relations.

The coin is made from a copper-nickel alloy containing 75 percent copper and 25 percent nickel. It weighs 19 grams and measures 36 millimetres in diameter.
On the obverse side, the coin features Pakistan’s crescent moon and star along with wheat sprigs and the year 2026. The face value “75” also appears prominently.

The reverse side displays the national flags of Pakistan and China beside a stylised “75” design.
In addition, the coin includes inscriptions celebrating the anniversary in English, Urdu, and Chinese script. The words “Trust, Friendship, Support” also appear as symbols of the strong relationship between the two countries.
