A Pakistan embassy official and over 20 Pakistani students joined diplomats and international peers on a day-long heritage tour in Beijing. The visit, organised under China’s youth exchange initiative, aimed to strengthen cultural ties and promote mutual understanding among foreign students.
Participants explored key historical sites, including Longfu Temple, the Bell and Drum Towers along Beijing’s Central Axis, and the Beijing Enamel Factory, known for its Jingtailan cloisonné enamelware, a national-level intangible cultural heritage of China.
Manzoor Ali Memon, minister-counsellor at Pakistan’s embassy in China, said the program offered students a deeper understanding of Beijing and fostered stronger connections between Chinese and international youth. Diplomats from over ten countries also attended the tour.
