On the occasion of the Spring Festival, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, extended warm greetings to the people of China and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to closer cooperation. The ambassador highlighted the Year of the Horse as a symbol of vitality, perseverance, and progress, reflecting the spirit of the Pakistan-China partnership.
Ambassador Hashmi emphasized the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, noting that the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership has remained strong over decades. He stated that both countries continue to deepen collaboration across diplomacy, economic development, connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges, guided by mutual trust and shared aspirations.
In his statement, the ambassador reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to strengthen strategic communication, advance practical cooperation, accelerate economic growth, and contribute positively to global peace and security. He wished the people of China happiness, good health, and success in the Year of the Horse, hoping for continued harmony and progress in bilateral ties.
