Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has officially inducted the MR-II tanker vessel MT Quetta into its managed fleet through its subsidiary Quetta Shipping (Pvt.) Limited. The tanker has a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 49,999 tons, significantly enhancing PNSC’s shipping capacity.
The induction strengthens PNSC’s commercial operations, including vessel chartering, cargo transport, and support services. It also expands the company’s ability to provide technical, administrative, and financial services related to shipping both domestically and internationally.
The addition of MT Quetta reflects PNSC’s commitment to modernizing its fleet and supporting Pakistan’s maritime trade. By increasing tanker capacity, PNSC ensures more efficient cargo transport, enhanced service delivery to clients, and stronger participation in global shipping markets
