President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed grief over the loss of lives in devastating floods and landslides in northern Nepal.
The disasters struck areas near Nepal’s border with Tibet. Flash floods and mudslides caused widespread destruction and claimed precious lives.
Zardari Expresses Solidarity with Nepal
President Zardari conveyed Pakistan’s sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives.
In a message on X, he also expressed solidarity with the people and Government of Nepal. He offered condolences during the difficult situation.
Shehbaz Sharif Voices Deep Sorrow
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed deep sadness over the disaster. He said the loss of lives and widespread destruction had deeply saddened him.
The Prime Minister specifically referred to floods and landslides in Nepal’s Rasuwa District and other affected areas.
Pakistan Stands with Nepal
Both Pakistani leaders extended their sympathies to Nepal following the natural disasters. Their messages reflected Pakistan’s solidarity with the affected people.
Meanwhile, rescue and relief efforts continue in the affected areas as authorities respond to the damage caused by the floods and landslides.
