The Government of Pakistan has proposed a Rs 39.76 million capacity-building project to train 3,920 workers, focusing on improving occupational safety and health standards in high-risk sectors.
The initiative will be implemented by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development from July 2026 to June 2028 and includes structured training, development of master trainers, and workplace inspections.
The project aims to reduce workplace accidents, enhance productivity, and strengthen compliance with international labour standards, including those promoted by the International Labour Organization.
