Pakistan and China held the 6th round of the Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue in Islamabad today, co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
The two sides conducted a comprehensive review of their bilateral relationship, reaffirming the depth of the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. Discussions covered key areas including the advancement of CPEC Phase-II, enhanced trade and economic cooperation, multilateral collaboration, and strengthening of people-to-people exchanges.
Both foreign ministers underscored that Pakistan-China friendship remains vital for regional peace, stability, and prosperity. They reiterated their commitment to further deepen cooperation and ensure close coordination on global and regional challenges, not only bilaterally but also at multilateral forums.
The meeting reflected the long-standing trust and mutual support that define Pakistan-China relations, with both sides agreeing to expand their strategic engagement in line with shared development goals.
