Pakistan and China conducted the 10th round of bilateral Consular Consultations in Beijing to strengthen citizen facilitation.
The talks, held on March 31, were led by Tariq Wazir from Pakistan and Long Zhao from China.
During the meeting, both delegations reviewed ongoing cooperation across consular matters and highlighted the growth in people-to-people exchanges, reflecting the strong strategic partnership between Islamabad and Beijing.
The officials reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing visa and immigration coordination and improving mechanisms to protect and assist citizens traveling or residing abroad.
The consultations also serve as a key institutional platform to address practical issues affecting nationals and expand facilitation in trade, education, tourism, and connectivity.
Overall, the meeting demonstrated the continued focus of Pakistan and China on strengthening institutional cooperation and providing better services to citizens of both countries.
