The Pakistan-China Business Forum (PCBF) inaugurated a sub-branch in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Pakistan and China in the Yangtze River Delta region. The branch will connect businesses, promote sectoral collaboration, and support Pakistani companies entering the YRD market.
The office will focus on key sectors, including information technology, textiles, e-commerce, and manufacturing. It will provide market information, policy guidance, and commercial matchmaking services to facilitate cross-border trade and investment.
Beyond economic objectives, the Hangzhou branch will promote cultural exchange and tourism, enhancing people-to-people ties. The inauguration was attended by Shehzad Ahmad Khan, Consul General of Pakistan in Shanghai, who highlighted opportunities in digital economy, logistics, cloud storage, and electric vehicle manufacturing.
