A high-level delegation from the Republic of Belarus, led by Chief of the General Staff and First Deputy Defence Minister Major General Pavel Muraveiko, met Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad to discuss expanding bilateral defence cooperation.
The meeting focused on professional matters of mutual interest, including strengthening defence collaboration between Pakistan and Belarus.
Pakistan Reaffirms Commitment
During the meeting, Admiral Naveed Ashraf said Pakistan highly values its relationship with Belarus and seeks to build long-term, multidimensional cooperation.
Moreover, he reaffirmed Pakistan Navy’s commitment to promoting regional maritime security and strengthening defence partnerships with friendly countries.
Belarus Appreciates Pakistan Navy
Major General Pavel Muraveiko appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s efforts to maintain regional maritime security and acknowledged its role in promoting stability.
Furthermore, both sides agreed to expand the scope of the existing bilateral defence relationship through closer cooperation.

The meeting reflected the shared commitment of Pakistan and Belarus to deepen defence engagement and explore new opportunities for military collaboration.
In addition, both countries expressed their intention to strengthen professional exchanges and enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
