Nestlé has announced a $60 million expansion investment in Pakistan, reaffirming its long-term commitment to the country, during a high-level business roundtable on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Nestlé’s Executive Vice President and CEO for Asia, Oceania and Africa, Remy Ejel, said the company plans to significantly expand operations and use Pakistan as a regional manufacturing and export hub, supplying products to 26 countries.
Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb welcomed the investment, calling it a strong vote of confidence in Pakistan’s economic reforms, policy consistency and efforts to attract long-term foreign investment.
