Japan’s Ministry of Education (MEXT) announced scholarships for Pakistani teachers in 2026, allowing non-degree training and research in school education at Japanese universities.The program lasts about 18 months, provides Japanese language training, and awards a certificate upon completion.
Eligible candidates must be born on or after April 2, 1991, hold a teaching qualification, and have at least five years of teaching experience. University faculty cannot apply.Applications close on February 12, 2026. Details are available on the Embassy of Japan in Pakistan’s official website.
