A 17-member delegation of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) is visiting Pakistan for a week to enhance joint efforts against terrorism. The visit highlights growing cooperation among Muslim nations in maintaining regional security and stability.
The delegation, led by IMCTC Secretary General Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, will inaugurate a special counterterrorism training program and engage with Pakistani officials to strengthen operational collaboration. Pakistan’s former army chief, Gen. (retd) Raheel Shareef, serves as IMCTC commander-in-chief.
Pakistan maintains strong ties with Gulf and Muslim countries, recently signing a defense pact with Saudi Arabia treating aggression against one nation as aggression against both. The IMCTC visit further reinforces Pakistan’s role in Muslim world security initiatives.
