An officer from Islamabad Police has secured third position in an international law enforcement program in China.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Waqar Ahmed achieved the distinction during semester examinations at the People’s Public Security University of China in Beijing.
The program is part of a master’s degree designed for international law enforcement officers. It focuses on advanced policing skills and global cooperation.
University officials awarded Ahmed a commendation certificate in recognition of his strong academic performance. The award was presented during a ceremony held on April 16.
More than 30 international students attended the event, which marked the conclusion of the academic session.
The training program covers key areas such as criminal investigation, counter-terrorism, and international policing collaboration.
Officials said the program aims to build professional capacity among police officers from different countries.
The Islamabad Police department congratulated Ahmed on his achievement. It also expressed confidence that his international training will help improve policing standards in Pakistan.
