Gwadar successfully concluded the Sports Fiesta 2026 with the final football match held on March 18 under the supervision of the District Football Association Gwadar. The event was organized in memory of Syed Zahoor Shah Hashmi and named after the late Ishaq Baloch District Football Championship 2026.
In a thrilling match, Gwadar Combine and Gwadar Port Authority teams ended regular time at 2–2. The game was decided through a penalty shootout, with Gwadar Port Authority emerging victorious to claim the championship title.
The closing ceremony was attended by Chief Guest Commander 44 Division, Major General Habib Nawaz, along with dignitaries including Mir Arshad Kalmaty, DG Gwadar Development Authority Moin ur Rehman, DIG Makran Range Imran Qureshi, SSP Gwadar Flight Lieutenant (R) Atta ur Rehman Khan Tareen, Brigadier Waqar Qureshi, and other senior officials and sports personalities. Prizes and trophies were awarded to winning teams, runners-up, and players who delivered outstanding performances across various sports tournaments held during the fiesta.
