Gwadar Free Zone has introduced its Electricity Management Regulation to meet rising electricity demand from expanding enterprises. The regulation standardizes electricity access, metering, accounting, and payments.
It also sets clear rules for power Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE) management, payment processing, and record-keeping, aiming to make electricity usage more scientific and transparent.
COPHC highlighted that the Zone has been fully connected to Pakistan’s national grid, providing stable power and reasonable rates since August 2024. The company affirmed its commitment to optimizing the business environment and promoting high-quality development in the Zone.
