ISLAMABAD, Nov. 4 – Government College of Technology (GCT), Faisalabad has launched three-year Diploma of Associate Engineering in modern textile technology in collaboration with Jiangsu College of Engineering and Technology, China.
The launching ceremony was held in GCT Faisalabad on Nov 1.
Under China-Pakistan dual diploma program, the students will study their third year in China free of cost, Yasser Shakoor Chaudhary, Regional Director (Punjab), TANG Int’l Education Group, told Gwadar Pro.
The diploma program has already started with 25 students. All the students will be sponsored by the collaborating Chinese college for their 3rd year’s study in China, he added.
Faisalabad is the hub of textile industry in Pakistan and home to Allama Iqbal Industrial City, a special economic zone being developed at fast pace under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
