Field Marshal urges young officers to uphold integrity, professionalism as he addressed officers during a session.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir called on young officers to uphold the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and patriotism as they carry out their duties to the nation.
He conveyed these sentiments while addressing probationary officers from the 52nd Common Training Program of the Civil Services Academy during a session at the Army Auditorium in Rawalpindi.
During his address, the Field Marshal discussed several pressing matters, including national security priorities, internal and external challenges, and the crucial role played by the Pakistan Armed Forces in maintaining regional peace and national stability.
He emphasized the need for institutional harmony, mutual respect, and a unified national vision to achieve Pakistan’s long-term strategic and developmental goals.
He also stressed the critical importance of a competent, transparent, and service-oriented civil bureaucracy as a cornerstone of effective governance.
As part of their training, the Civil Services probationary officers were attached to Pakistan Army formations in both peacetime and operational environments, including regions such as Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.
These postings offered the officers valuable exposure to the workings of all three branches of the military through various visits and engagements.
The meeting with the Field Marshal was part of a broader national effort to enhance institutional coordination and deepen the relationship between Pakistan’s civil and military leadership.
Participants of the training program expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to engage directly with senior military officials and gain a deeper understanding of the Pakistan Army’s leadership vision, operational strategies, and broad contributions to national strength and development.
The session concluded with a lively question-and-answer segment, reflecting a commitment to open dialogue, shared responsibility, and a unified pursuit of Pakistan’s continued progress.
