China Gezhouba Group Company (CGGC), a key contractor at the Dasu Hydropower Project, distributed iftar meals to local communities under its “Ramadan Care and Aid Campaign 2026.” The initiative targeted villages near the project site, providing warm meals to underprivileged families observing the Ramadan fast.
The campaign forms part of CGGC’s broader community outreach efforts beyond infrastructure work, promoting values of compassion, generosity, and unity during Ramadan. The company has previously conducted healthcare camps, education support programs, and infrastructure improvements in nearby areas.
The Dasu Hydropower Project, one of Pakistan’s major renewable energy schemes, has also generated local jobs and fostered development opportunities. CGGC’s initiative highlights the role of social responsibility alongside large-scale infrastructure development.
