The National Highway Authority (NHA) on Wednesday declared China’s M/s Anhui Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (ACEG) and its Pakistani partner Progressive Technical Associates (PTV) among the prequalified companies for the construction of Lahore Sialkot Motorway (LSM) to Narang Mandi & Narowal (Package I -II- III).
As per NHA documents, LSM to Narang Mandi and Norowal project is consisting of three packages. Package one is from KM: 0+000 to KM: 23+000, package II from KM: 23+000 to KM: 48+000, and Package III from KM: 48+000 to KM: 62+330 including Norowal Eastern Bypass.
According to the prequalification report, 12 companies had submitted proposals for package I. Of them, six companies have been prequalified with ACEG and its JV partner PTA on top of the list.
For package II, 15 proposals/applications were received; of them, ACEG Co Limited and its partner PTA are among the seven prequalified companies.
Similarly, seven companies including Anhui Construction Engineer Group Co Limited and its partner have been announced amongst the prequalified applicants.
In the next stage, the most advantageous bidders will be announced among the prequalified companies.
