Chinese and South Korean companies expressed strong interest in expanding cooperation in high-tech and cultural sectors during the China–South Korea Business Forum held in Beijing. The forum took place alongside South Korean President Lee Jae-myung’s state visit to China and was attended by senior government officials and top business leaders from both countries.
Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng said China and South Korea should strengthen economic ties and pursue win-win cooperation, while President Lee emphasized deepening mutually beneficial partnerships to deliver greater benefits to both nations. Around 400 representatives participated, including executives from Samsung, Hyundai, LG, and major Chinese corporations.
Participants highlighted cooperation potential in artificial intelligence, robotics, manufacturing innovation, supply chains, beauty products, and modern services. Business leaders noted that closer geographical ties, joint research and development, and innovation-driven collaboration could inject fresh momentum into China–South Korea economic relations.
