China has announced emergency humanitarian assistance for Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq to help ease the suffering of people affected by the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. The decision was shared by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian, highlighting China’s concern over the growing humanitarian situation.
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, around 25 million people have been affected by the crisis. In Iran, civilian casualties continue to rise, while nearly 800,000 people in Lebanon have been displaced. Neighboring countries, including Jordan and Iraq, are also facing increasing pressure due to the escalating conflict.
Chinese officials expressed deep concern over the humanitarian impact and extended sympathy to those affected. China emphasized its commitment to international humanitarian efforts and its vision of building a shared future for humanity.China also stated that it will continue working to promote peace, reduce tensions, and support stability in the region, aiming to prevent further escalation of the crisis.
