A new China-Pakistan Business Center has opened in Beijing to strengthen trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The center was unveiled on September 8 during the 99 Global Business Linkage Festival 2026 and Fengtai District Opening-up Development Conference.
Located in Beijing’s Lize Financial Business District, the center will serve as a cross-border business platform. It will connect Pakistani companies with Chinese markets, businesses, and commercial resources.
New Platform for Pakistani Businesses
The China-Pakistan Business Center will provide Pakistani enterprises with new opportunities in China.
Companies can use the platform to connect with Chinese businesses, distributors, and service providers. Meanwhile, Chinese companies can explore investment opportunities in Pakistan and wider South Asia.
The initiative comes as Beijing’s Fengtai District expands support for companies entering emerging markets.
Fengtai Expands Business Support Services
Fengtai District has established an overseas expansion service center for international businesses. The platform brings together financial, legal, logistics, and data-related resources.
As a result, companies can receive broader support when entering new markets. The services also aim to simplify market access and cross-border business operations.
Pakistan-China Thalassemia Charity Initiative
The event also featured a China-Pakistan charity initiative focused on thalassemia care.
The Embassy of Pakistan in China and the Pakistan Women’s Association Beijing supported the initiative. A dedicated Pakistani public welfare booth was also established at the event.
Pakistani exhibitors displayed a range of locally made products. These included leather jackets, footwear, carpets, scarves, jewelry, brassware, wooden handicrafts, and porcelain tea sets.
Trade Activities Support Healthcare
Participating Pakistani businesses have committed to donating proceeds from the booth under formal agreements with the Pakistan Thalassemia Welfare Association.
The funds will support medical assistance for thalassemia patients. They will also help purchase medical equipment and train healthcare workers in Pakistan.
Therefore, the initiative connects commercial activity with social welfare and healthcare support.
Strengthening People-to-People Ties
The combination of business and charity gave the event a broader people-to-people dimension.
Pakistani products served as both commercial items and tools for cultural exchange. At the same time, the charity initiative created another channel for cooperation between communities in Pakistan and China.
Expanding China-Pakistan Economic Cooperation
The new business center comes as economic cooperation between Pakistan and China continues to expand.
Beyond traditional merchandise trade, both countries are developing stronger links in logistics, services, technology, and industrial cooperation.
The China-Pakistan Business Center could therefore provide another platform for companies to build partnerships and explore new markets.
