Chinese aerospace company PIESAT participated in the AI Rise Expo 2025 in Islamabad, highlighting advanced satellite communication, earth observation and drone technologies to strengthen China-Pakistan technological cooperation.
During the expo, PIESAT held discussions with Pakistan’s Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission and briefed officials on progress related to satellite manufacturing and a planned satellite internet constellation under a major bilateral agreement.
Pakistani officials emphasized the importance of satellite and AI technologies for disaster management, agriculture monitoring and urban planning, while reaffirming commitment to expanding China-Pakistan collaboration in space and digital innovation.
