China has expressed strong support for Pakistan’s role in mediating tensions in the Middle East, emphasizing the need for an immediate ceasefire and renewed peace efforts.
During a discussion between Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, both sides agreed on promoting dialogue, protecting civilians, and ensuring the safety of key shipping routes.
Pakistan highlighted its ongoing diplomatic efforts to ease tensions between the United States and Iran, with China acknowledging and backing these initiatives aimed at restoring regional stability.Both countries stressed that lasting peace can only be achieved through diplomacy, with a focus on stabilizing the region and maintaining secure navigation through vital waterways like the Strait of Hormuz.
