A month-long Ramadan relief initiative jointly organized by Chinese and Pakistani groups has begun distributing daily iftar meals to underprivileged families across several regions of Pakistan. The program aims to ease food insecurity during the holy month.
Each evening, hundreds of freshly prepared meals are being delivered to communities in cities including Islamabad, Gujranwala, Gilgit and parts of Azad Kashmir. In addition to cooked food, organizers are also providing essential grocery packages to support households throughout Ramadan.
Organizers say the initiative represents a broader spirit of friendship and compassion between the two nations, with volunteers committed to expanding the program further so that more vulnerable families can receive assistance before the month concludes.
