A Pakistan-China initiative has trained around 200 educators in modern digital marketing technologies. The two-week international program concluded in Lahore after focusing on practical digital skills.
The training ran from August 31 to September 11, 2026. Teachers from public and private institutions across Pakistan took part in the program.
Training Focuses on Digital Marketing
The program covered several modern digital marketing tools and techniques. These included search ranking, recommendation engines, social media, app marketing, and mini-programs.
In addition, the training focused on using these technologies for cross-border e-commerce. Participants learned how digital tools can support online business and international trade.
200 Teachers Join the Program
Around 200 teachers participated in the training. They attended two hours of classes each day.
The organizers used both on-campus and online learning methods. This approach allowed educators from different parts of Pakistan to participate.
Silk Road Digital Trade Academy Hosts Training
The program took place at the newly established Center of Excellence at GTTI Gulberg Lahore. It operated under the Silk Road Digital Trade Academy.
Moreover, the initiative aimed to strengthen the digital capabilities of Pakistan’s teaching community. It also sought to connect education with emerging digital trade opportunities.
Pakistan-China Cooperation in Digital Skills
UNI International and ITMC Technology Co. Ltd China organized the program. They worked with Zhejiang Technical Institute of Economics to deliver the training.
The initiative received support from NAVTTC, P-TEVTA, and the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP).
Building Skills for the Digital Economy
The training reflects growing Pakistan-China cooperation in digital education and technology. It also supports efforts to prepare educators for the demands of the digital economy.
Furthermore, stronger digital skills can help Pakistani institutions promote e-commerce and technology-based learning. The initiative therefore provides a practical link between education, digital marketing, and international trade.
