Pakistan has facilitated the safe return of 22 Iranian crew members after their interdiction by U.S. authorities, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar said on Friday.
The crew members arrived safely in Karachi. Pakistani authorities coordinated the process to support their transit and return.
Coordination with Iran and the United States
According to Ishaq Dar, Pakistan remained in close contact with authorities from Iran and the United States throughout the process.
In addition, Pakistan worked closely with Iranian diplomatic missions to ensure the earliest and safest return of the crew members to their home country.

Fourth Repatriation Operation in Two Months
Officials stated that this was the fourth group of Iranian crew members repatriated through Pakistan during the past two months.
As a result, the total number of Iranian crew members assisted through these efforts has now exceeded 70.
Continued Humanitarian Support
The latest operation reflects Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement and coordination on humanitarian matters.
Moreover, the effort highlights ongoing cooperation to facilitate safe transit and repatriation arrangements when required.
