Liven Pharma Limited and TOFFLON Science and Technology Group Co Ltd have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation in pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing.
According to a disclosure submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the agreement supports Liven Pharma’s Vision 2030 strategy and aims to improve local manufacturing capabilities through technology collaboration.
The agreement was signed by TOFFLON Senior Vice President Michael Chang and Liven Pharma Chief Executive Officer Kaashif Hussain.

Focus on Manufacturing and Technology Transfer
Under the partnership, Liven Pharma plans to strengthen its position as an integrated pharmaceutical and biotechnology enterprise.
In addition, the cooperation will support the localisation of selected pharmaceutical and biotechnology processes in Pakistan. The initiative is expected to contribute to improved production capabilities and industrial development.
Supporting Growth in Pakistan’s Pharma Sector
TOFFLON, based in Shanghai, provides pharmaceutical process services, consumables, engineering solutions, and core manufacturing equipment to global pharmaceutical companies.
Moreover, the collaboration reflects growing industrial cooperation between Pakistan and China in high-value sectors.
Building Long-Term Industry Capacity
Liven Pharma was established in Pakistan in 1991 and became a public limited company in 1992. The company manufactures pharmaceuticals and related products.
As a result, the latest agreement is expected to support technology exchange and help strengthen Pakistan’s pharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem.
