Machinery Cooperation Agreement Signed
President Asif Ali Zardari witnessed a Joint Venture Agreement and two MoUs in Sanya between Pakistani and Chinese organisations. The agreements aim to strengthen cooperation in construction machinery, animal health, and medical technology.
A key MoU was signed between Al Hassan Trade Establishment, Sany Group, and Hainan Jiaolong International Technology. It focuses on high-end equipment, manufacturing, and construction machinery.
The agreement supports China-Pakistan Economic Corridor-related projects and promotes machinery supply, talent training systems, and after-sales services. It also explores investment for establishing factories in Pakistan and localised production.
The MoU was signed by Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Vice President Li Qin of Sany Group, and Chairman Hao Jiaolong of Hainan Jiaolong International.
Animal Health Cooperation Through Vaccine Supply
A Joint Venture Agreement was signed between the Livestock & Fisheries Department, Government of Sindh and Luoyang Modern Biology Group.
The partnership focuses on the supply of animal vaccines, including Foot-and-Mouth Disease vaccines. It also includes technology exchange and development of animal traceability systems.
Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon and Chairman Wang Shanpu signed the agreement.
Medical Technology Partnership
A separate MoU was signed between Dr Ziauddin Hospital and Shenzhen Weibang Technology.
The cooperation focuses on medical intelligent robots and advanced healthcare solutions. It aims to develop a “product + service + solution” model for clinical use.
The agreement was signed by Dr Anoop Kumar Dawani and Deputy General Manager Deng Haitao.
Strengthening Pakistan-China Practical Cooperation
A short documentary marking 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship was also screened during the event.
Moreover, senior officials from Pakistan and China attended the ceremony, reflecting strong institutional engagement between both countries.
