Gwadar Launches Two New Rehabilitation Projects
Member of the Provincial Assembly Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman and Gwadar Development Authority Director General Moin-ur-Rehman Khan inaugurated two development schemes in Gwadar under the Old Town Rehabilitation Project.
Key Infrastructure Developments
The completed schemes include Faqeer Colony Bridge and Kitab Chowk near the RCD Council. The project also covered expansion of Club Road, drainage system upgrades, and beautification work to improve the urban environment.
Ongoing Urban Development Efforts
Officials stated that these projects mark the seventh and eighth schemes completed under the rehabilitation initiative in recent months. The broader plan focuses on upgrading infrastructure and providing essential services to residents of Gwadar’s old city.
Officials Attend Inauguration Ceremony
Senior officials including Chief Engineer Haji Syed Muhammad and Project Director Mir Doda Khan Marri attended the ceremony. Political representatives and community members also participated, reflecting local engagement in development efforts.
