The 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference opened on March 25 in Beijing, marking the start of a five-day event focused on full integration between technological and industrial innovation. The forum will run until March 29, featuring more than 100 events including forum sessions and the release of key achievements.
The conference has attracted over 1,000 participants from more than 100 countries and regions. In addition to discussions on innovation, the event includes over 20 technology matchmaking sessions and roadshows for more than 500 domestic and international technology projects.
Organizers said the forum aims to strengthen global collaboration, promote technology commercialization, and foster partnerships between industry and research institutions. Experts highlighted that such platforms play a vital role in connecting innovators and investors while advancing China’s technological leadership on the world stage.
