China has intensified diplomatic efforts as the war between the US and Israel and Iran continues, emphasizing the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire. The country’s special envoy, Zhai Jun, has met with foreign officials in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, stressing that ongoing military operations threaten regional stability and serve no country’s long-term interest. China has offered to facilitate dialogue to prevent the situation from worsening.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has been in constant contact with leaders from Iran, Egypt, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other countries, urging restraint, negotiation, and political solutions. Beijing is calling on all parties to calm tensions, hold face-to-face discussions, and work toward a peaceful settlement while avoiding actions that could escalate the conflict further.
In addition to diplomatic engagement, China has pledged humanitarian assistance to civilians affected by the fighting. Experts note that tensions remain high, with both sides adopting hard-line positions. China’s approach highlights the importance of dialogue, international cooperation, and measured action to achieve stability and protect regional peace.
