Pakistani exhibitors participated in the China (Sichuan) New Year Shopping Festival in Chengdu, one of the country’s major annual trade and cultural events. Eight Pakistani companies displayed handicrafts, leather products, textiles, and other traditional items, presenting Pakistan’s cultural heritage to international visitors.
Pakistan’s Consul General in Chengdu, Tanvir A. Bhatti, visited the exhibition and appreciated the participation of Pakistani businesses. He said the event reflects the quality and diversity of Pakistani products and supports stronger trade and cultural connections between Pakistan and China.
The festival, running from January 30 to February 11, provides an important platform for international businesses to connect with Chinese markets. Pakistani companies used the opportunity to promote their products, expand exports, and strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
