Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong met to strengthen Pakistan-China security cooperation following recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan. China condemned the attacks, expressing full solidarity with Pakistan and offering continued support in counter-terrorism efforts.
Minister Naqvi briefed the ambassador on swift security responses and ongoing operations, emphasizing the establishment of a Special Protection Unit dedicated to Chinese nationals. Both sides agreed to enhance intelligence sharing, counter-terrorism coordination, and cybersecurity collaboration, leveraging modern Chinese technology to reinforce national security measures.
The meeting reaffirmed the enduring Pakistan-China strategic partnership, with officials stressing that no adversary can undermine their friendship. Ambassador Zaidong thanked Pakistan for its security arrangements, while Naqvi appreciated China’s unwavering support, highlighting the importance of bilateral cooperation in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
