A Chinese company operating in the Gwadar North Free Zone has received formal approval to export donkey meat to China after clearance from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC). The approval was granted following a successful online inspection of the company’s facilities and operational procedures.
According to Gwadar Pro, the company Hangeng completed all regulatory, licensing and certification requirements required by Chinese authorities. With approvals now in place, exports are scheduled to begin next week from a newly established slaughterhouse located within the Gwadar North Free Zone.
A company official said regular shipments will follow once exports commence, with plans to send around 50 containers of donkey meat to China each month. The development highlights growing commercial activity by Chinese enterprises operating in Gwadar under the free zone framework.
