Pakistan’s exports to China recorded steady growth in 2025, increasing by 1.07% to reach $2.84 billion, compared to $2.81 billion in 2024, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC). This modest increase reflects the resilience of Pakistan’s export sectors despite global economic headwinds and currency fluctuations. Analysts noted that consistent policy support and bilateral trade agreements under CPEC have contributed to maintaining a positive trajectory in trade with China.
Monthly export data shows strong momentum in the second half of the year, particularly in February, November, and December, with exports reaching $238.94 million, $303.01 million, and $336.45 million respectively. Key sectors driving this growth included agriculture, minerals, and other raw materials where Pakistan’s competitive advantage remains robust.
Overall bilateral trade between Pakistan and China reached $25.23 billion in 2025, marking nearly a 10% increase from $23 billion in 2024. This growth highlights deepening economic integration under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor framework, with investments and joint projects supporting industrial development, logistics, and trade infrastructure. The stable export performance underscores Pakistan’s ability to sustain long-term partnerships with China.
