China and Pakistan have expressed their readiness to strengthen media and overall cooperation, emphasizing the promotion of accurate public understanding and positive narratives. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian made the remarks following the 9th CPEC Media Forum, attended by over 200 participants from both countries, including government officials, media representatives, and think tanks.
The forum focused on enhancing media exchanges, countering misinformation, and highlighting the achievements of CPEC 2.0. Participants stressed the role of media as a key tool for fostering friendship, understanding, and strategic collaboration between China and Pakistan.
Lin Jian reiterated that China and Pakistan aim to build a closer bilateral community with a shared future. Cooperation in media and other sectors is expected to strengthen ties, support sustainable development, and promote the successful implementation of CPEC 2.0 initiatives.
