The 3rd International FoodAg Pakistan 2025 concluded in Karachi with USD 641 million in confirmed trade deals, reflecting growing confidence in Pakistan’s agri-food sector. The three-day exhibition featured over 370 Pakistani exhibitors and 850 international delegates from more than 80 countries.
Chinese firms emerged as leading participants, securing export contracts valued at USD 33.9 million. Key agreements included seafood exports and a memorandum for heat-treated meat shipments, marking an expansion of Pakistan’s footprint in the Chinese agri-food market.
The event also facilitated deals with Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, the UK, Vietnam, and Iran, covering products such as rice, sesame, eggs, wheat flour, olive oil, and other value-added foods. Officials emphasized that Day 2 of the exhibition saw active business engagement and discussions on partnership opportunities across Pakistan’s food value chains.
High-level meetings and government-to-government dialogues, including discussions on sanitary and phytosanitary cooperation, complemented the exhibition. The Global Cuisine Show, featuring internationally recognized chefs, attracted strong attention, further showcasing Pakistan’s potential in the global agri-food market.
