A three-member delegation from Punjab TEVTA visited China to finalize agreements for an Electric Vehicle Technology Diploma program for Pakistani students. The initiative, under CPEC, aims to provide advanced training and practical skills in sustainable mobility.
The partnership involves TEVTA, Xiangyang Polytechnic, ITMC Technology, and UNI Services International, allowing students to benefit from industry-standard labs, research, and internships. The program also supports establishing a Center of Excellence at GCT Rawalpindi.
Officials stated that the program will help bridge the skills gap in EV manufacturing, maintenance, battery systems, and charging infrastructure, preparing students for global industry opportunities while strengthening Pakistan-China cooperation in vocational education.
