Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed authorities to accelerate the construction work of the Jinnah Medical Complex, expressing hope that the project will be completed soon through combined efforts. He said the complex would become a leading health facility not only for Pakistan but for the wider region.
During a meeting with the JMC Board, the prime minister thanked Aga Khan University for its continued technical assistance throughout different stages of the project. The board members appreciated the prime minister’s support and guidance in taking the project forward.
Officials briefed that rapid work is underway to establish advanced treatment services, international-standard medical training, and strong research facilities at the Jinnah Medical Complex. They added that the project will incorporate modern technology, including artificial intelligence and robotics, to meet global healthcare benchmarks. Senior officers from relevant institutions also attended the meeting.
