Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar led Pakistan’s delegation at the SCO Council of Heads of Government summit in Moscow on November 17, 2025. The two-day meeting brought together leaders from China, Russia, Central Asia, Iran, and India to discuss regional cooperation in trade, security, energy, transport, and technology.
During the summit, Dar held bilateral talks with SCO members to enhance economic collaboration, promote joint infrastructure projects, and strengthen regional connectivity. Pakistan emphasized its commitment to peace, stability, and sustainable development in the region.
The delegation also explored opportunities for increased investment, cross-border partnerships, and technological cooperation, aligning Pakistan’s vision with the broader goals of the SCO framework.
Non-member countries and international organizations attending the summit provided additional avenues for Pakistan to engage in multilateral cooperation, share expertise, and expand diplomatic networks across Eurasia.
