The Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing hosted the 2nd Pakistan-China Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Forum, emphasizing skills development for Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
The forum gathered senior officials, vocational institutions, and enterprises from both countries to discuss partnerships in agri-tech, food processing, livestock, dairy, and food-grade packaging. The sessions focused on sector-specific vocational training to enhance productivity and sustainable growth.
Ambassador Khalil Hashmi highlighted the importance of linking technical education with Chinese investment in Pakistan’s priority sectors. He emphasized academia-industry collaboration as essential for food security, inclusive growth, and long-term development.
