The second “Belt and Road” Youth and Science Teacher Capacity Improvement Workshop concluded, uniting educators and students from China and Pakistan to explore artificial intelligence (AI) and project-based science learning. The four-day offline workshop built on prior online sessions that engaged over 700 participants from both countries.
The event emphasized “AI-Empowered Subject Teaching” and “Project-Based Learning,” providing a platform for hands-on activities, school visits, and expert dialogues. Participants visited Crescent Model Higher Secondary School and LUMS, exploring STEM classes and advanced research labs to strengthen educational exchange.
Interactive challenges like the “HAMSTER Interdisciplinary Challenge” and the “Xuanyuan Green Energy Vehicle Challenge” allowed students to assemble functional clean energy vehicles and tackle engineering tasks, showcasing innovation, practical learning, and sustainable development. Chinese educators highlighted the role of science and technology in fostering people-to-people connectivity and educational innovation.
