A total of 269 Pakistani students are currently enrolled in China-Pakistan dual-diploma programs in agriculture-related majors under the China Pakistan TVET-Industrial Center of Excellence (CPTICE). Among them, 59 students have moved to China after completing two years in Pakistan, while 10 students have already graduated with dual diplomas recognized by both countries.
The CPTICE framework has also organized multiple short-term skill training sessions in collaboration with Chinese enterprises, benefiting nearly a thousand corporate employees, teachers, and students. Additionally, 14 digital courses have been developed, covering fields such as Modern Agricultural Technology, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Grain Storage & Quality Safety, and Chinese Herbal Medicine Cultivation.
Officials emphasized that strengthening TVET cooperation between China and Pakistan is crucial for Pakistan’s agricultural development. The forum highlighted the importance of industry-academia-research collaboration to enhance productivity, ensure food security, and provide skilled workforce opportunities, with both countries aiming to deepen bilateral agricultural cooperation.
